Hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, the evening celebrated outstanding achievements in film and television, with several unexpected victories — and, of course, jaw-dropping A-list luxe beauty and fashion moments — adding excitement to the night. Top Film Moments and TV Triumphs: Who Took Home the Gold? In the film categories, Emilia Pérez emerged as a standout, securing four awards, including Best Motion Picture – Best Musical or Comedy and Best Motion Picture – Foreign Language. The Brutalist was honored as Best Motion Picture – Drama, with its lead, Adrien Brody, receiving Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama. Demi Moore’s portrayal in The Substance earned her the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, marking a significant milestone in her career. Television accolades saw Shōgun dominate, winning Best Television Series – Drama, as well as Best Actor in a Television Series – Drama and Best Actress in a Television Series – Drama for Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai’s compelling performances, respectively. Hacks was named Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy with its star, Jean Smart, continuing to receive acclaim for her role, winning Best Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy.
