Guaranteed €1 million to be shared among Lotto raffle winners this Saturday

An additional €1 million will be adding to the Lotto Plus Raffle prize fund for Saturday's draw. The Lotto Plus Raffle guarantees winners of €500 in every draw but on Saturday night, players are set for a boost in their winnings. By topping up the raffle prize fund by €1 million, all winners of the Lotto Plus Raffle will take home the usual €500 prize as well as share an extra €1 million between them. While Saturday’s Lotto is heading towards an estimated €2.5 million, last night’s draw saw one player from Westmeath become €32,406 richer after they successfully matched five numbers plus the bonus. The Lotto player purchased their quick pick ticket on the day of the draw, from The Grove Service Station, Baylough, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. The numbers for last night’s Lotto (2nd April) were: 4, 14, 19, 20, 22, 25 and the bonus was 11. The National Lottery is urging all players in Westmeath to check their tickets carefully and if you’re holding the winning ticket, be sure to contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of your prize. Emma Monaghan, spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “Saturday’s Lotto draw is set to see players win even bigger prizes than usual with our first Lotto Plus Raffle event of the year! With an additional €1 million in the Lotto Plus Raffle prize fund guaranteed to be shared by all Raffle winners, we are predicting each winner will receive around €10,000, depending on the number of winners. "In our most recent shared €1 million Lotto Plus Raffle, each of our players won an extra €11,495. All you need to do is include the Plus when you’re buying your ticket - what a great boost for our players!” “And for our latest Westmeath winner - if you’re holding the winning ticket, make sure you sign it, keep it somewhere safe, and make contact with our Prize Claims team!” Join our Dublin Live breaking news service on WhatsApp. Click this link to receive your daily dose of Dublin Live content.
