Luas services suspended due to 'incident'
A massive power cut in Dublin city centre has left nearly 2,000 homes and businesses without electricity. A total of 1,846 customers have been affected by the outage on Marrowbone Lane this morning. Traffic lights are out in the area stretching all the way to Abbey Street. The power cut is also affecting Luas junctions. Luas Red Line services were suspended between Belgard and Saggart after a car smashed into a tram in Fettercairn this morning. A Garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are currently at the scene of a collision involving a car and a light rail transit vehicle that occurred on Fettercairn Road, Dublin 24 at approximately 6:15am this morning, Thursday 10th April 2025."
