Man, 30s, arrested after Gardai seize nearly €150,00 of heroin and cocaine

A man was arrested after Gardai discovered nearly €150,000 worth of illegal drugs in north Dublin. Officers undertook the search of a premises in Ballymun yesterday morning. They found around €87,500 of suspected heroin and €61,600 of suspected cocaine. A man, aged in his 30s, has been arrested and is detained at a Garda station. A Garda spokesperson said: "Gardai have seized approximately €149,100 of controlled drugs yesterday morning, Tuesday 15th Tuesday 2025. "The search of a premises in Ballymun was conducted by Ballymun divisional Drugs Unit with assistance from the Armed Support Unit, Ballymun Detective Unit and Ballymun Community Response Team. During the course of this search approximately €87,500 of suspected heroin and €61,600 of suspected cocaine was seized. "A man, aged in his 30s, has been arrested in connection with this search and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in North Dublin.
