The Late Late Show pulled from RTE schedule as replacement confirmed
The Late Late Show, the long-standing RTÉ chat show hosted by Patrick Kielty, will not be gracing our screens this Friday night due to Good Friday. The show, which usually airs at 9.35pm every Friday, is taking a brief hiatus but fear not, it will be back on April 25th in its usual time slot. In its place, RTÉ One has scheduled the sports drama movie Air, featuring Matt Damon and Viola Davis. The film tells the story of shoe salesman Sonny Vaccaro and his role in Nike's pursuit of basketball legend Michael Jordan. Over on RTÉ 2, you can catch the comedy drama The Last Right, with Michiel Huisman playing Daniel Murphy, a man left in charge of a stranger's corpse. Meanwhile, Virgin Media One offers the latest from the Celebrity Big Brother House, where hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best will be evicting another housemate, reports RSVP Live. This scheduling change comes as Patrick Kielty and his wife Cat Deeley have jetted off for a sunny family holiday with their sons Milo and James. The TV star couple, who reside in London, are enjoying a well-deserved break as the Easter holidays kick off. Cat has given her followers a glimpse into her family life by sharing some photos on Instagram, including one of her paddleboarding in the ocean with her eight year old son Milo while wearing a stunning black swimsuit, with the caption: "Catch a wave". She also posted a heartwarming video of Patrick and their six year old son James strolling along the beach on an "ice cream run". The couple tends to keep their children out of the public eye, seldom sharing photos or discussing them in interviews. Patrick has mentioned that his sons won't be attending his show anytime soon due to the late hour of the Late Late Show. In an interview with RSVP last year, he explained, "The two boys are in bed on Friday nights," adding that Cat hopes to attend one of his shows soon, now that her work schedule has stabilised with her Monday-to-Thursday role on This Morning.
