Renault Triber facelift spied again, gets new LED headlights
This will be the first major update to the Renault Triber ever since it was first launched in the market in 2019. Renault earlier this year announced that it will launch facelifted models of Kiger and Triber sometime later this year. Test mules of both updated models have been spied on multiple occasions in recent months. The Triber facelift was recently caught on camera yet again. A video of the updated Triber wearing a camouflage has been uploaded on YouTube by Shankar (Shanky).
The Triber seen in the video is carrying red number plates registered in Tamil Nadu, where Nissan vehicles in India are manufactured. The short clip confirms multiple exterior changes over the existing model. For starters, the updated Triber gets a taller and beefier stance as compared to the existing model.
Renault Triber facelift: Expected styling updates
The profile is a bit boxier than before thus giving it an SUV-ish feel. Up front, the Triber facelift is likely to get a redesigned front face featuring new LED headlights which get eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs on the edge of the hood. The new sleeker headlight clusters flank a completely redesigned front grill, along with a reprofiled front bumper giving the car a fresh appeal. The new front bumper also houses repositioned fog lamps.

The short video indicates a different set of alloy wheels with the updated Triber. The updated MPV will be seen flaunting new wraparound LED taillamps with a sleek chrome lip at the bumper. The rear bumper itself looks chunkier than the one seen in the outgoing model. The overall design update mirrors the changes seen in the teaser image of Triber shared by Renault earlier.
Inside, the updated Triber is likely to feature subtle design enhancements to the dashboard, including lighter colour tones, additional soft-touch materials, and a longer list of features—similar to the refreshed Nissan Magnite introduced last year.
Renault Triber facelift: Expected powertrain
Currently, Renault offers the Triber with a single 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that kicks out 71 bhp and 95 Nm of peak torque. This motor is available with two gearbox options: a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. There are chances that Renault could add the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine motor available in Kiger. This motor is good enough to produce 99 bhp and 160 Nm (152 Nm in AT) of torque. Transmission options for this engine include 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission.
