Vogue Williams thought she was having a heart attack after two worrying symptoms

Vogue Williams feared she was having a heart attack and noticing two worrying symptoms at night. Vogue, 39, says she developed an “obsession” with getting a good night’s sleep after her split from Westlife star Brian McFadden. The former couple met at a Dublin nightclub in 2011, getting engaged the following year. They tied the knot in Florence, Italy, but their marriage started to unravel within three years, leading to their divorce in 2017. In her autobiography, Big Mouth, Vogue says she realised Brian wasn’t "marriage material" despite being "good fun to be around" on their wedding day. Vogue admits she felt “anxious” ahead of saying “I do” because “deep down I knew I had made a mistake”. Vogue says the “debilitating anxiety” stuck with her after the couple called it quits. The television presenter admits the “new level of anxiety” is what triggered her obsession with sleep. Vogue felt as though she was “losing control” and soon discovered two major symptoms at night. It prompted her to seek medical attention, concerned she was having a heart attack. In her autobiography, Vogue wrote: “Being woken up by a really fast heartbeat and pains in my stomach became a constant thing. One night I even took myself to a SwiftCare Clinic, convinced I was having a heart attack - with bad hearts running in my family, I thought it was best to get it checked out.” Vogue met Brian in a Dublin nightclub (Image: Karwai Tang, WireImagevia Getty Images) Vogue says it was then that medics told her she was actually having a panic attack. Vogue added: “As a naturally happy and upbeat person, this new feeling of being in such a tizz was not really on brand for me.” Panic attacks and heart attacks can often present with similar symptoms. People can experience issues such as palpitations, chest pain, shortness of breath, and a tingling or numbing sensation in the fingers or toes during both problems. A heart attack however often presents with pain or discomfort in the jaw, neck, or back and a tingling, numbness, or pain in one or both arms or shoulders. The NHS advises anyone who suspects they are having a heart attack to dial 999. After her divorce, Vogue met former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews while filming Channel 4’s The Jump in 2017. Despite Vogue initially being unsure about the reality TV star, their relationship has blossomed. Vogue now shares three children with Spencer Matthews (Image: Instagram) Spencer popped the question to Vogue in January 2018 while they were in London watching the Lion King on the West End. They married in June 2018 at Spencer’s family’s 10,000-acre Glen Affric estate in Scotland. The couple are now parents to Theodore, Gigi, and Otto. While their recent wedding anniversary was a low-key affair, Vogue revealed she has grand plans to mark a decade together. On her podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me, Vogue revealed to her friend Joanne McNally that she's planning a third wedding in 2028. This follows their second wedding, which was part of their reality TV series Vogue, Spencer and Wedding Two. She explained: "I have bad news. Spen and I, when we're 10 years married, in three years time, we are going to do a wedding. I know that we got married, but when we got married in Scotland and that wasn't meant to be our wedding, there were like 20 people there. "Then we did the TV wedding, which wasn't a real wedding, because it just wasn't a real wedding, it was for TV. We actually want to do a wedding in three years' time when we're married for 10 years. No one will bloody believe it, imagine being married to someone for 10 years."
