Is Jenna Bush Hager ditching the Today show for another role on TV? Not necessarily—but she did share some thoughts about a fun potential gig.
During the November 24 taping of Today With Jenna and Friends, Jenna and co-host Andy Cohen interviewed Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff, and Lindsay Mendez about their new movie, Merrily We Roll Along. In the interview, Jenna and Andy were stunned to learn that Lindsay had a guest-star role on a recent episode of Law & Order: SVU.
Jenna revealed to the audience that she'd love the chance to appear on Law & Order: SVU in the future—and she already has thoughts about who she'd want to portray.
"You were just on SVU—that's my dream," she exclaimed in the clip posed on Decider's official Instagram. "I want to play the dead person so bad."

Back in July 2025, Jenna spoke with Law & Order star Tony Goldwyn about her dreams of guest-starring on SVU one day. Tony responded that portraying a victim may not be as glamorous as she thinks.
"You’re lying there for hours and people are working around you," Tony explained at the time, per a report from E! News. "And you’re ready to get up after 20 minutes and they say, 'No you have 12 more hours laying on this slab.'"
