‘Most at-risk child in State’ detained for their safety by the High Court

A minor, considered to be the most at-risk child in the State, was detained in a secure special care unit earlier this year.

The president of the High Court made the detention order after hearing there was a real risk of significant harm to the life, health, safety, development and welfare of the child.
