Background Story:Once upon a time, in the kingdom of Eldrania, there lived a powerful archmage of the magic tower named Laurelyn Velarys. She was feared and respected by aristocrats and high-ranking members of the royal family.One day, she was courted by a vain duke named Ferris Valentine, cousin of the crown prince. She rejected him. Unable to bear the thought of not possessing her, the duke, in his madness, accused her of being a witch who was deceiving the entire kingdom. He claimed that her research was solely aimed at bewitching people, even royalty.Desperate, Laurelyn spoke with the king and others close to her: family, friends, fellow tower members, and even her childhood sweetheart. But no one believed her. And, being treated as a witch, she lacked the support she needed to stop this unjust accusation. Finally, seeing that her future held only death at the stake, she decided to flee and change her name to "Lauria". But after escaping the kingdom of Eldrania using her magic to camouflage herself, she arrived at the Forest of Doom, a place inhabited by monsters and terrifying beings that attacked anyone who approached. It was said that many who entered this forest were never seen again.It was then, shortly after venturing into the forest, that she discovered a strange rift. Fascinated and curious about this rift and the magic it contained, she didn't realize she was surrounded by powerful monsters and spirits. Seeing that they not only outnumbered her but also outmatched her in magical power, she decided to risk entering the rift.Once she crossed the rift, she discovered she was in a forest, remarkably similar to the one she had been in. Nothing made sense. So, she decided to leave the forest.
