Aldi is launching its latest Baby Event, with prices from as little as 82p (Picture: Aldi)
If there’s one thing us bargain-loving Brits love, it’s Aldi’s middle aisle.
Now, the nation’s beloved budget supermarket is giving money-savvy parents the opportunity to stock up on baby essentials, with middle-aisle bargains available for as little as 82p as part of its Baby Event.
The initiative returns today, while stocks last, and there’s plenty of bargains to be had.
Back by popular demand, the Sohl Learning Tower, which retails for £34.99, allows little ones to safely reach the perfect height to join in on kitchen activities. It can also function as a table for arts and crafts.
Other items include the Nuby Foldable Bath (£14.99), and the Nuby My Real Potty (£17.99) for babies on the verge of potty training.
Online there was lots of excitement ahead of the sale.

On Facebook, Debbie Cryer said she was going ‘straight to Aldi tonight.’
Laura Evans confessed that she’s already spent £204 on supplies, despite her newborn not being quite old enough to benefit from her buys. ‘So much cheaper than everywhere else. Will put away for him as he’s only seven weeks old,’ she added.
While Chloe-Louise Endacott said she’s found Aldi’s nappies to be the ‘best so far.’
Aldi was recently given the accolade of Supermarket of the Year at the Mother & Baby Awards, a testimony to the valued position it holds in the minds of the nation’s parents.
New parent and Metro’s SEO reporter, Jon Fellowes, lives next door to an Aldi, and he says that the last dedicated baby event was an ‘absolute lifesaver’ in allowing them to save money on ‘everyday bits and pieces’ in the run-up to his daughter’s birth.

He tells Metro: ‘Now she’s with us, I’m definitely going to be hitting up the middle aisle again for some bargains to see us through the next few months… you can never have too many of those muslin and bib packs.’

Featuring either pink or blue icing and topped with chocolate beans, the cake launched in September, which is the most popular birth month.
At the same time, research from Aldi found that 58% of Millennial Brits have celebrated their pregnancy with a gender reveal, while 48% of Gen Z have attended three parties on average over the last five years. So, why not throw in a cake to mark the occasion?
