Moondrop is a tech-driven audio company that makes a wide range of audio gear for hi-fi enthusiasts: everything from passive speakers to over-ear headphones, portable CD players to in-ear monitors.
And now the brand has introduced a new high-end pair of planar magnetic headphones named Skyland.

Moondrop’s Skyland is a wired, open-back headphone. Each pair features large 100mm planar magnetic drivers with an ultra-thin 500nm diaphragm, which is designed to move quickly and accurately, and ultimately deliver an incredibly detailed sound.
In addition to their large, ultra-thin drivers, the Skyland headphones incorporate Full Drive Technology (FDT); the planar circuits are distributed across the driver’s entire vibrating section (rather than just a central section, like most planar magnetic headphones).
According to Moondrop, this helps the Skyland achieve performance levels closer to those of electrostatic headphones.
