New statistics reveal alarming attitudes in Ireland towards speeding, insurance, vehicle maintenance and intoxicated driving.

Ireland ranked as the ninth-safest European country in which to drive in 2024, but there was a sharp increase in road fatalities last year to the highest level in 11 years.
