Barcelona fans are furious with Ferran Torres after their 2-1 loss to Girona in La Liga on Monday, February 16. The Spaniard was unable to do much on the pitch today and was isolated from the teammates.
Hansi Flick's side were looking to bounce back from the 4-0 thrashing at Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey, but things did not go as planned. They had the opportunity to take the lead in the first half, but Lamine Yanal saw his penalty come off the woodwork.

Pau Cubarsi managed to get them the lead just before the hour mark. However, they failed to keep their lead for over a minute ahd were level with Thomas Lemar scoring for the home side.
Fran Beltran gave Girona the lead with four minutes left on the club as Barcelona chased all three points. Joel Roca got sent off for the home side in injury time, but it did not stop the home side from getting all three points.
The Catalan side's fans slammed Torres after his performance and posted:
Joan Garcia was furious with the second goal conceded in the game and said:
"It's a foul on Koundé and I'm surprised they don't call the VAR to at least review it. It's hard to see it live, but it has to go to the VAR. We are conceding way too much chances. We concede way too easily. My saves are not a good thing. It's not a good thing to celebrate if I make many saves. We had a lot of people in front... We should have cut the attacks before they advance so much. They were cutting through our defence so easily, too easy." "I think they've been superior, especially in the second half. We had to stop their plays in their half with fouls. Luckily, we have a free week to work on the concepts in the best way possible and for each one to think about what they can do better. We are letting attackers pass through very easily, nobody is cutting attacks from the start. We have to change that. I'm not thinking of the Spanish national team right now. Barcelona manager Hansi Flick claimed that VAR cost them a point against Girona, saying the officials failed to spot the foul. He said:
"Everyone saw what happened in the second goal... but I can't say anything about the referees. We were very bad, especially in defence. Girona deserved the win."Barcelona face Levante and Villarreal next in the league, before taking on Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semifinal.
