Enemies in all three waves of Honkai Star Rail 4.0 Pure Fiction Node 1 have Physical weaknesses, making a Phainon hypercarry team one of the best choices for clearing this half. Make sure to keep advancing Phainon so that he can use his Ultimate and enter his Khaslana form as soon as possible, preferably coinciding with the beginning of Surging Grit. Players who don't have Cerydra can use Bronya in her place.
Use the Delirium buff for this team.
2) Firefly, The Dahlia, Fugue, Lingsha

Enemies in waves two and three of this node have Fire weaknesses, making a Firefly Break team another good option for players to consider. Firefly has great synergy with both The Dahlia and Fugue, so it is recommended to use them in conjunction with her. Players who don't own Lingsha can use Gallagher instead.

A triple DoT team featuring Kafka, Black Swan and Hysilens – with Huohuo as dedicated support – can also be used to clear this node. With Black Swan now being capable of dishing out more damage thanks to the Novaflare buff, this DoT team can whittle down the enemy waves pretty quickly.

All enemies in Node 2 have Quantum weaknesses, making Castorice's premium team the best choice for clearing this stage. Evernight is a great sub-DPS choice for this team, while Cyrene is undoubtedly the best Remembrance support in game. Players who don't have Cyrene, however, can use Tribbie instead.
Use the Delirium buff for this team.
2) Archer, Sparkle, Yao Guang, Dan Heng Permansor Terrae

Players who own Yao Guang and want to challenge this node according to the new Elation mechanics can pick this team. Even though a dedicated Elation DPS hasn't been released as of yet, Yao Guang can be paired with Archer and Sparkle to help buff the team's overall DMG output. Free sustain Dan Heng Permansor Terrae is the best shielder for this team.
Use the Euphoria buff for this team.
3) Rappa, The Dahlia, Fugue, Lingsha

If you have not used a Break team in Node 1, you can do so in Node 2, by picking a Rappa hypercarry team. Enemies in this node are weak to Imaginary, making Rappa a good choice for challenging this stage. Her AoE attacks can quickly take down multiple enemies in waves one and two, as well as the numerous Juvenile Stings in wave three. Players who don't own Lingsha can replace her with Gallagher.
