Police officers have once again been injured in an explosion in southern Ukraine, just one day after a massive blast in Lviv left one policewoman killed and dozens of people injured.
President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on Telegram on Monday that investigators are probing whether the latest incident in the city of Mykolaiv was a terrorist attack.
Seven people were injured, two of them seriously.
The police had previously reported that there had been an explosion at a disused petrol station in the city of Mykolaiv.
According to reports, several police vehicles were on the petrol station premises during a shift change.
Police Chief Ivan Vyhyvsky linked the incident to the attack in the western city of Lviv on Sunday morning.
A 33-year-old woman, who is believed to have been recruited by the Russian secret service, was arrested as the suspected perpetrator in the Lviv attacks.
