At Giorgio Armani Autumn Winter 2026–2027, exploration was framed as a state of mind – a way of rereading even the most familiar landscapes through an ever-shifting lens. The collection also marked a pivotal moment for the House: the first co-ed Giorgio Armani presentation jointly led by Giorgio Armani’s designated design heirs, Silvana Armani and Leo Dell’Orco.
That spirit of cohesion was palpable on the runway. This season proposed a subtle recalibration of Armani’s codes – fluid, enveloping, perfectly imperfect. The silhouette softened without dissolving. Jackets were stripped entirely of padding, their structure relaxed but never undone. Coats and blousons wrapped the body in generous, deconstructed volumes, while fluid trousers – cut with a faintly masculine attitude – skimmed the floor. Pullovers slipped over shirts, offering fleeting glimpses beneath. Tailoring felt constructed yet released, grounded in tactile fabrics such as flannel, cashmere, crêpe and velvet, blended in harmonious combinations. The result was a natural, recognisable balance between strength and suppleness.

The palette unfolded in meditative gradations of grey, sage and blue, illuminated by flashes of white that heightened their clarity. Burgundy acted as a chromatic thread, guiding the narrative toward evening. There, garments grew lighter, dissolving into weightless drapes: tunics floating over trousers, surfaces crinkled and embroidered to evoke lofty peaks. Through intricate, three-dimensional craftsmanship and precious detailing, mountain landscapes were suggested in cloth – atmospheric yet intimate.
The Armani woman emerged renewed, moving between memory and modernity with quiet confidence. The past was treated as living matter – explored and reworked rather than preserved – allowing elegance to evolve while remaining true to its essence.

As the final looks circled, the show closed with the previously unreleased A costo di morire, performed by Mina in tribute – a poignant coda that lingered long after the lights dimmed.
