Illenium has kicked off his residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, and has jam-packed the show with huge IDs and awe-inspiring visuals.
Covering his entire musical journey up until now, he has also made sure to include some of his latest work, given it’s the ‘ODYSSEY’ show. The album of the same name dropped last month, and features a whole host of collaborations, most notably on ‘Slave To The Rithim’, a link-up with Bring Me The Horizon. The song itself is a mind-melting blend of metal intensity and EDM euphoria, chopping and changing genres with glee. So the visuals that accompanied its moment needed to be just as chaotic, and the result is sensational.
Hues of green spread around the thousands of LED screens that cover the venue’s roof, whilst a demon DJ deals out the pain. It’s intense, intricate and absolutely sensational to experience.
Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, Illenium also dropped his edit of ‘Can You Feel My Heart?’ Absolutely unstoppable.
If you are in Vegas, go and see it. Simple as that.
