Following an investigation, however, another theory comes to life: might Sandra have killed Samuel?Directed and co-written by Justine Triet, Anatomy of a Fall is a tense courtroom drama about the tensions that bubble up within marriages, while also touching on larger themes such as gender inequality. Brilliantly written and acted, it's a modern masterpiece. Their troubled relationship, however, leads to more bickering than discussion. Will these three hot-headed siblings be able to resolve things long enough to actually help their father, or will they just make everything that bit worse?Sounds heavy, huh? But while 53 Sundays is about a sensitive subject, there's plenty of wit and absurdity here that makes the film is genuinely funny as well as touching.
