Motorist arrested after being caught making video while driving and high on drugs
Gardai in Co Donegal have arrested a man after he was caught making a video while driving his car and high on cannabis.The man was caught on the dual carriageway outside Letterkenny yesterday afternoon.Officers from the Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit were on patrol when they came across the incident.A spokesperson said: “A driver was observed holding his mobile phone above the steering wheel while driving along the dual carriageway.Crime Wrap Saturday April 25 “It transpired that he was making a video! He also tested positive for cannabis and was arrested. A Fixed Charge Penalty Notice will be issued and court may follow.”Gardai detected a number of speeding offences on the dual carriageway yesterday.One of the speeding drivers in question also tested positive for cannabis and an arrest was made.
