Man (50s) who breached safety order by attacking his brother in family home told to ‘stay away’ or go to jail
The case was heard at a sitting of Cavan District Court.A man in his 50s has been ordered to stay away from the family home he shared with his brother after breaching a safety order and assaulting him in a drink-fuelled attack, a court has heard.The 51-year-old, who cannot be named owing to the domestic nature of the incident and to preserve the anonymity of his victim, pleaded guilty contravening the court imposed order and assault on February 8, 2025 at a sitting of Cavan District Court.
