WWE Star Demands Knicks Seats Near Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner

The New York Knicks are currently on another potential run to the NBA Finals, thanks to strong performances in their first and second-round series of the NBA Playoffs.

They handled the Atlanta Hawks to begin their postseason, blowing them out in multiple games to win the series 4-2, and then drew the Philadelphia 76ers as their second-round opponent.

That first series drew attention from some fans because of WWE's professional wrestling star, Danhausen, who is known for his catchphrases "very nice, very evil" and "You are cursed," appeared on ESPN and crashed a segment with loyal Knicks fan Stephen A. Smith.

During their on-air exchange, Danhausen didn't like the way Smith acted towards him and promptly informed him that he had put a curse on him and his New York team.

Luckily for Smith, the Knicks, and their fans, someone ordered a Cameo video from Danhausen, paying him to "uncurse the Knicks," and soon after, they demolished the Hawks, 140-89 in Game 6, to finish their playoff series in Atlanta.

On Sunday, the Knicks took a step closer to the Finals after sweeping the 76ers in the Eastern Conference semifinals. One night before Game 4 in Philly on Sunday afternoon, Danhausen was part of the WWE Backlash premium live event occurring in Tampa, Florida.

After winning an earlier match, he appeared on the post-WWE Backlash show as part of ESPN's coverage and shared an interesting message about his curse on the Knicks.

They mentioned that since Danhausen "uncursed" the Knicks, the team hadn't lost a playoff game, and asked Danhausen if he'd keep the curse lifted.

"Yes, but I'm gonna need courtside seats right next to Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, right in the middle," he said as his demand to Peter Rosenberg on the WWE panel.

Rosenberg, who brought up the topic, said he'd work on that for Danhausen. However, the WWE shared the video and tagged the Knicks in their post to get their attention.

What seems to bode well for Danhausen is that there is already a connection in place, as the Knicks' Jalen Brunson is a big fan of professional wrestling, appearing at WWE events and even getting into the ring for a segment.

Along with that, Brunson was a guest on Stephanie McMahon's podcast, suggesting he'd help Danhausen with that ticket request.

The problem might be that the WWE star wants his seats "between" Chalamet and Jenner, who have been looking cozy in side-by-side courtside seats at the games.

Chalamet has been visible during the recent playoff run along with other Knicks celebrity fans, including Tracy Morgan, Ben Stiller, and Spike Lee.

And the Oscar-nominated actor sometimes attends games solo, depending on Jenner's schedule, which means Danhausen could show up as his plus-one.

Nonetheless, it seems this is something both WWE and the Knicks should capitalize on for a "very nice, very evil" cross-promotion of professional wrestling and the NBA Playoffs.
