Sheriff confirms DNA evidence in missing case of Savannah Guthrie’s mother | Drop Dead Serious
The disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of "Today" co-host Savannah Guthrie, has taken a disturbing turn. Investigators with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department say DNA evidence was found inside Nancy Guthrie’s home in the Catalina Foothills near Tucson, Arizona, as the case escalates from a missing persons investigation into a criminal probe.
In this episode of "Drop Dead Serious," Ashleigh Banfield sits down for an extended interview with Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, who explains why search-and-rescue efforts were halted, what investigators found inside the home that raised red flags and the significance of the DNA evidence.
Anyone with information related to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie is urged to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Office at 520-351-4900.
