Iran launches ballistic missiles at crucial UK-US base | BBC News

The UK has denounced Iran's 'reckless threats' after it emerged two ballistic missiles were fired towards the British base at Diego Garcia. Neither missile struck the island but it draws into question the range of Iran's ballistic missiles, which were not previously thought to be capable of reaching the base.

The US has also issued an update, claiming to have struck 8,000 targets in Iran in the last three weeks. Meanwhile Iranian attacks are continuing across the region.
