Six oil shipments to Australia cancelled as Middle East conflict threatens fuel supply
The Middle East crisis has already driven up petrol prices around the world as concerns grow over disruptions to the shipping of oil into Australia.
Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen has confirmed six oil shipments due to arrive in April have been cancelled.
The concern from the government is that if this war continues for several months, there could be further disruptions to these shipments.
