The US and Iran have agreed a two-week ceasefire to allow time for talks on a plan to end the war. US President Trump announced the pause late last night. Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, said the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened for shipping traffic.
Israel said it supported suspending strikes on Iran, but the two-week ceasefire "does not include Lebanon". Pakistan's prime minister said it does.
