‘Something has gone wrong’: NDIS labelled one of Australia’s ‘biggest public policy failures’
Sky News host Jaimee Rogers says the National Disability Insurance Scheme may become one of Australia’s “biggest public policy failures”.
“There are programs that start with the best of intentions. And the NDIS was one of them,” Ms Rogers said.
“When it launched in 2013, it was a genuine landmark. The scheme was a commitment to every Australian living with a significant and permanent disability — that the nation would have their back. It was bold. It was compassionate.
“But something has gone seriously wrong… and it now risks becoming one of Australia's biggest public policy failures.”
