Trump vows to blockade the Strait of Hormuz following collapse of US-Iran talks

After 21 hours of closed-door diplomacy, Donald Trump's response to the US-Iran talks was public and emphatic, with the president vowing to blockade the Strait of Hormuz.

The talks in Islamabad ended without agreement in the early hours. The US said Iran wouldn't agree to abandon its nuclear ambitions, and the Iranian side said America had not earned their trust.
