Iran has inflicted extensive damage on US military installations across the Gulf region, with strikes hitting at least 16 facilities in eight countries, according to an investigation by CNN. The report said multiple US bases were targeted by Iranian missiles and drones during the ongoing conflict, with some installations described as severely damaged or rendered unusable.
Among the sites hit was Camp Buehring in Kuwait, a major US military hub, which CNN reported is now largely empty following sustained attacks. CNN reported that Iranian strikes focused on high-value military assets, including radar systems, surveillance aircraft and communications infrastructure.
