Right before Russia sent its troops across the border, Britain sent 2,000 NLAW anti-tank launchers to Ukraine. Small, lightweight, and easy to use, they turned out to be the perfect weapon for the early stages of the war and at one point were credited with destroying 40 per cent of Russian tanks. Now, though, that’s no longer the case - with the Ukrainians preferring the US Javelin or FPV drones. So, what made NLAW so good at the start of the war, and what has changed since?
