Allianz named one of Ireland's Best Workplaces for Health & Wellbeing
Great Place to Work has recognised Allianz Ireland as one of the country's Best Workplaces for Health & Wellbeing 2025.
The title is given to organisations that actively support the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of their staff, creating environments where colleagues feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive in all aspects of life.
It builds on the globally respected Best Workplaces methodology, with this specific award based on responses to 10 key wellbeing statements from Great Place to Work’s Trust Index survey.
Among this year’s recognised organisations, 84% of employees reported feeling encouraged to balance their work and personal lives, 92% agreed they can take time off when needed, and 82% said their organisation is a psychologically and emotionally healthy place to work.
In comparison, just 50% of employees in the average Irish organisation reported similar experiences.
At Allianz Ireland, 99% of employees agreed it is a physically safe place to work, 92% said they can take time off when they think it is necessary, and 95% reported that they were made to feel welcome when they joined.
A further 92% feel good about the ways the company contributes to the community, and 92% report that people there care about each other.
Allianz Ireland was this year named as the winner of Ireland’s Great Place to Work, Super Large Category, as well as a Great Place to Work for Women.
“At Allianz Ireland, we believe that creating a healthy and supportive workplace is essential — not just for performance, but for people. This recognition is a reflection of the everyday commitment and care shown by our colleagues, and I’m proud of the culture we continue to build together,” said Phillip Gronemeyer, CEO of Allianz Ireland.
Phillip Gronemeyer,
Cathal Divilly, CEO of Great Place to Work Ireland, added: “When organisations truly prioritise health and wellbeing, it’s a game-changer — not just for employees, but for the business as a whole. A workplace where people feel supported and can bring their best selves to work naturally leads to higher engagement, better performance, and a stronger culture.
"The organisations being recognised as the Best Workplaces for Health & Wellbeing 2025 understand this. They’re leading the way in creating environments where wellbeing isn’t just a perk — it’s part of how they do business.”
