Clanwilliam appoints Dr Seán Higgins as chief product officer

Healthcare technology company Clanwilliam has appointed Dr. Seán Higgins as its chief product officer. Dr. Higgins will have responsibility for the integration of Clanwilliam's suite of healthcare technologies in organisations across the country. Clanwilliam's more than 25 health record and digital healthcare products and services are used by around 1.5m healthcare professionals worldwide, including those with organisations such as the Irish Defence Forces, the NHS, the HSE, and Medicare. With 15 years' experience in primary care as a GP, Dr. Higgins is an experienced leader in the development of primary and secondary healthcare technology solutions. He was previously head of technology innovation at Centric Health, which manages the delivery of healthcare to over 400,000 patients in Ireland each year. In 2021, he founded Billink Payments, an integrated system for clinical practices to simplify the management of payments, which has been adopted by over 700 clinical practices in Ireland.
