Will We See The New DJI Mavic 4 Pro in May?
DJI has single-handedly won the market when it comes to launching budget-friendly and powerful drones for photography. Over the years, they launched the DJI Mavic Air 2, the DJI Mavic 3 Pro, and the DJI Mini 4 Pro, each of which gradually showcased their technological prowess. Join the list of the highly anticipated DJI Mavic 4 Pro, which is said to revolutionize drone photography. Reports now confirm that the drone is much closer to its official launch, and what people can expect from it.According to Photo Rumors, DJI is set to launch the popular drone on May 13. Weight: 1,063 gIn the past, we found the DJI Mavic Pro 3 quite an excellent device for photography. The drone’s image quality, flight time, and RAW file versatility are what stood out the most for us. In our conclusion, “The DJI Mavic 3 Pro is a versatile quadcopter for serious aerial photographers. The larger sensor on the main camera produces clean JPEGs and sharp DNG files with lots of editing flexibility. While larger, it’s not much harder than flying a drone from DJI’s Mini series, with a very similar experience. The obstacle avoidance sensors will help avoid crashes while also easing pilot anxiety and increasing trust in the drone’s automated flight patterns, including automatically returning to home when the battery is low or the link is lost.”However, with the DJI Mavic Pro 4 promising to be another upgrade, the challenge lies in the pricing of the device. Per a report by The Verge, DJI has already increased the price of Osmo cameras by 54% in two months. With China currently facing a tariff of 145%, it is unclear how the company is going to price the drone. Since the Mavic 3 Pro was priced at $2,199 back in 2023, with the new changes, the new Mavic 4 Pro could cost twice as much. However, we must wait until we see final announcements. Perhaps, it may not be as bad as it think it would be.
