Where to find rusted gears in Arc Raiders

Rusted gears are, weirdly in a futuristic apocalypse, one of the most sought after items in Arc Raiders. Unfortunately, they're also pretty rare. Rusted tools seem to show up in every other container, but rusted gears are much more scarce. Unfortunately, they're required to upgrade the gunsmith bench in the workshop, so you'll need to hunt for them if you want to craft better weapons.

All loot in Arc Raiders is random, but since items are categorized, you can make your chances of finding rusted gears higher by looking in the right places. Here's where you're most likely to find rusted gears in Arc Raiders.

Rusted gears in Arc Raiders are typically found in cars and other vehicles, or any location on the map marked as having industrial loot. However, there's one important thing to consider that will increase your chances of finding them: map conditions. Night raids, for example, have higher chances of finding better loot, so if you're rifling through areas you know should have rusted gears, but you're not finding them, try again on a more difficult map.

Here are the most fruitful locations on each map for rusted gears:

Dam Battlegrounds: Scrap Yard Buried City: Parking Garage Spaceport: Vehicle Maintenance Blue Gate: Warehouse Complex Stella Montis: Loading Bay

Each of these locations has vehicles aplenty, but the lower difficulty maps such as Dam Battlegrounds naturally have slightly worse loot, so you absolutely need to search those during a night raid.
