Manufactured through the designer's furniture studio T. Black Atelier, the Tulip chair channels the two typically hard materials into supple forms, creating a study in contrast and subversion.
The Tulip chair contrasts hard materiality and supple formsSmooth marble rounds and merges into the chair's orbital-brushed stainless steel elements, which curve gently around the seat like the petals of the flower that gives the design its name.
With a look that straddles the sculptural and the modern, the minimalist and the industrial, the Tulip chair is an accent piece designed to leave a lasting impression.
Marble and orbital-brushed stainless steel elements are combinedThe chair can be specified in either Verde Green or Rosso Levanto marble. Alternatively, Calcatta Viola marble is paired with walnut wood in an earthy third option.
The Tulip chair is made to order and constitutes part of T. Black Atelier's Collection 01, which has the contrast between soft forms and hard finishes as a central theme.
