
Electric vehicle (EV) charging solution developer, Tual, has appointed Luke Dowell as its new chief technology officer.
In his new role, Dowell will be supporting the upscale of Tual’s PowerUp Charger technology across European fleet markets.
Dowell joins Tual with more than 13 years of experience in EV charging systems, power electronics and functional safety. He has held senior engineering roles at BP Pulse, Dyson and Jaguar Land Rover.

Targa Telematics appoints UK director of insurance
Targa Telematics has announced the appointment of Adam Gooch as its director of insurance in the UK.
The role will see Gooch overseeing Targa Telematics’ InsurTech offering and its UK expansion.
Gooch brings more than 20 years of insurance experience to his new role, having worked with telematics and InsurTech providers, legal services and major insurers. He has previously held senior director positions at telematics service providers across the UK, where he achieved significant growth for his business units, managed insurer relations and project development, and led operations and marketing.

New UK brand director appointed at Dacia
Lina Ribeiro has been named as Dacia’s next UK brand director, succeeding Luke Broad who has been promoted to managing director of Retail Renault Group UK.
Ribeiro has more than 20 years of experience across key markets in the automotive industry, having held strategic roles in the UK and abroad where she led initiatives in sales, operations, network development and customer experience.
Her new role will involve guiding Dacia’s operations, commercial plans and long-term goals in the UK, with a focus on expanding the organisation’s reach and collaborating with its retailer network to optimise the customer experience.
“It’s a real privilege to step into this role and continue shaping the next chapter of Dacia’s success in the UK,” said Ribeiro.

FMG Repair Services promotes new technical manager
FMG Repair Services (FMGRS) has promoted Kenny Cruickshanks to the new role of technical manager – client services.
Cruickshanks will be part of a dedicated insurer relationships team, supporting FMGRS with its large insurer client relationships. He will also drive technical alignments, performance and excellence within the 65 FMGRS bodyshop sites.
An experienced IMI regional vehicle damage assessor, Cruickshanks brings a decade of experience and extensive technical knowledge to his new role, along with strong working relationships with clients.

New commercial lead at Jigcar
Jigcar has appointed Chris White to the newly created position of commercial lead.
The role was established as part of Jigcar’s strategy to deliver AI-powered vehicle transportation software and solutions to the automotive sector.
White has taken on the role from his previous position of account director at Keyloop and brings significant automotive industry experience from other roles across the sector, including as account manager at Auto Trader and Cooper Solutions.

Plug Charging appoints chief commercial officer
Cardiff-based charge point operator, Plug Charging, has named Vernon Williment as its new chief commercial officer.
Williment’s appointment has been made as part of Plug Charging’s commitment to scaling responsibly, accelerating decarbonisation efforts nationwide, and meeting the increasing demand for dependable charging infrastructure.
In his new role, Williment will accelerate Plug Charging’s commercial expansion by developing a unified commercial strategy. He will focus on building new partnerships and ensuing that the company’s narrative aligns with its mission. He will also lead the development of commercial processes, pipeline governance and customer value propositions.
Williment has joined Plug Charging with extensive experience in commercial leadership across the EV charging, renewables and smart-city technology sectors.

Engineius appoints new head of automotive
Vehicle movement service, Engineius, has appointed Richard Spencer to the newly created role of head of automotive sales.
Spencer brings more than 30 years of automotive experience to his new role, having previously held positions at Arval UK and the RAC in account management and operations director roles.
