Snoop Dogg suffers heartbreaking death of baby granddaughter
Snoop Dogg’s family have suffered a heartbreaking loss following the death of the rapper’s baby grandaughter.
Cori Broadus, Snoop’s daughter, announced on Instagram that her 10-month-old daughter had tragically passed away last week.
The 26-year-old shared a black-and-white photo of her with her baby, Codi Dreaux, to share the devastating news.

Cori wrote: ‘Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi.’
Her partner, Wayne Deuce, also paid tribute to his daughter with a photo on Instagram.
He said: ‘I’ve been the saddest since u left me, Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you. My baby.’

Cori only recently shared a post welcoming her daughter home from the hospital, thanking supporters for ‘every prayer, every message, every ounce of love’.
She had previously opened up about Codi’s health struggles and the difficulties that occurred during her pregnancy, with the baby arriving prematurely.
Last February, Cori shared on Instagram: ‘The princess arrived at 6 months. Baby girl came at 25 weeks today, and she’s perfect as ever.’

She also explained that she had an emergency caesarean after developing HELLP syndrome, a serious pregnancy-related condition that often occurs in the third trimester.
Codi spent 10 months in the NICU after her early birth, with doctors constantly working to improve her condition.
Cori opened up on the realities of NICU motherhood a few months ago, sharing that Codi was fighting hard despite her fragile state.
She told US Weekly: ‘That girl is so feisty. She’s so resilient and strong. She just has so much character… Yeah, the circumstances are not what you thought they would be, but it could be worse.’
Cori has been through her own health problems, suffering a ‘severe stroke’ in 2024.
She added: ‘What really got me close with God is after I had my stroke. I told him, “God, if you get me out of here, I’m gonna tell the world about y’all and tell the world you’re real”. And He did exactly that. And He gets me through.’
Snoop’s only daughter was also given a lupus diagnosis when she was just six years old.
Snoop has not publicly commented on his granddaughter’s devastating passing.
