The Iowa Hawkeyes (15-5) ride a three-game winning streak into Sunday night’s Big Ten Conference matchup in Eugene with the free-falling Oregon Ducks (8-13), who have lost seven straight.

Stirtz and Tavion Banks scored 20 points apiece for Iowa, with Banks also getting seven rebounds, and Stirtz picked off three steals. Reserve Alvaro Folgueiras dropped 14 points as well.
Oregon’s woes continued on Wednesday night in a 73-57 loss to visiting UCLA that left the Ducks at 1-9 in conference action. Kwame Evans Jr. finished with 24 points and eight rebounds and was the lone player for Oregon in double figures. While Evans hit 9-of-18 from the floor, the rest of the Ducks combined for a 12-of-41 effort. Sean Stewart also pulled down eight boards in the loss.
The Ducks have won the last two meetings with the Hawkeyes, who lead the all-time series 6-3. Stirtz averages 18.4 points for Iowa, with Banks putting up 11.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. With top scorers Nathan Bittle and Jackson Shelstad sidelined, Evans leads Oregon with averages of 13.3 points and 7.4 rebounds. TK Simpkins is also out with an injury for the Ducks.
