Bruce Mouat has a crucial game in the curling today. | Getty ImagesWe’re now well into the second week of the world’s biggest celebration of winter sports.
It’s now the eleventh full day of the Winter Olympics and the schedule is jam-packed with sporting action.
Taking place across Lombardy and Northeast Italy until February 22, the Milano Cortina games are the 25th time the event has taken place.
A total of 2,871 athletes from 92 countries will compete in 116 events across eight sports and 16 disciplines, including the debut of ski mountaineering.
But there’s been no time for them to contemplate that loss as they are now reaching the business end of the men’s and women’s curling competitions.
They’ll be hoping to add to the record gold medal tally for Team GB - with Matt Weston winning two golds in the skeleton, both solo and alongside Tabitha Stoecker in the team event, and Charlotte Bankes and Huw Nightingale combing to top the podium in the mixed team snowboard cross gold.
Here’s everything you need to know about who the curlers are facing today - and everything else happening today.
