Wu-Tang Clan's founding star Oliver "Power" Grant passed away at 52 on February 26, and the cause of death is still unknown. He helped create the rap group in 1992, and they still tour to this day.
The Staten Island group shared the news online and wrote: "Rest in Power, Power," with a dove emoji, and a plethora of pictures of the artist when he was younger and posing alongside the group.
Power also launched the group's Wu Wear in 1995. The group's other founding member, Ol' Dirty Bastard passed away in 2004.
The Wu-Tang Clan has been announced as a 2026 nominee for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The rap group is currently on a world tour called The Final Chamber, which began last year and will end in Australia in March 2026.
Below HELLO! delves into the lives of the members of the iconic group and what they have been up to outside of the Clan.
