One Battle After Another star Benicio del Toro had a very special plus one at the Actor Awards on Sunday night. The Oscar-winning Puerto Rican actor, who was nominated for the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role, joined his co-stars at the ceremony in Los Angeles, and brought his rarely-seen teen daughter along with him for the milestone moment, marking her red carpet debut.
Delilah, 14, supported her famous dad on his big night as she joined him for an ultra rare public appearance at the star-studded awards show. Benicio was pictured throughout the evening alongside his daughter, which happened to be her first time walking a red carpet. Delilah looked lovely for the glamorous occasion in a shimmery gown with a rosette front and centre on the top. The teen kept a natural appearance with her hair worn out.
Benicio welcomed his daughter Delilah with actress and model Kimberly Stewart, who is the daughter of rocker Rod Stewart, in 2011.
Benicio and Kimberly co-parent
While Benicio and Kimberly split before Delilah was born, the couple have successfully co-parented their daughter together over the years. Kimberly did an exclusive interview and photoshoot with HELLO! in 2011 after welcoming her daughter with the actor.
"The whole family, including Benicio, was at the hospital and my mom and Benicio were in the delivery room with me," Kimberly told HELLO!. "Benicio's very involved; he and Delilah have a very special bond."
Kimberly opened up about motherhood to HELLO! in 2015: "I've been a stay at home mother since she was born and I've loved every second," she said. "When she arrived I just wanted to be with her, figure it out between us and be the best mum that I could be. She's the greatest thing in my life." Kimberly announced in March 2025 she was pregnant with her second child.
Speaking about his daughter and fatherhood in 2016, Benicio told The New Zealand Herald: "I try to stay under the radar now".
"I'm a father and that changes everything...I'm thinking about the future of another human being who I'm in love with."
Delilah's famous grandfather
Delilah's grandfather is none other than singer Sir Rod Stewart. Delilah's mum Kimberly is Rod's second-eldest daughter whom he shares with ex, American actress Alana Stewart. In 2023, Benicio joined Delilah and her mum Kimberly for a trip to his home country Puerto Rico, where they met up with Rod who was performing a concert there.
