'Yuusha-kei ni Shosu' Second Season in Production

Produced by Studio KAI, the first season adapting Rocket Shoukai's action fantasy light novel premiered on January 3 and ended with 12 episodes on March 26. Crunchyroll streamed the anime with subtitles and dubs in multiple languages.

Shoukai began penning the novel on the Kakuyomu website in October 2020. Kadokawa began publishing the novel under its Dengeki no Shinbungei imprint with illustrations by Mephisto in September 2021 and published the eighth volume on January 17.

Natsumi Inoue began drawing a manga adaptation on the Dengeki Comic Regulus web magazine in March 2022. Kadokawa released the second volume in April 2024.

Yen Press licensed the light novel and manga for English release in August 2023 and December 2025, respectively. The fifth light novel volume went on sale in December 2025, and the first manga volume is scheduled to be released on June 23. Kadokawa also publishes the manga adaptation in English on the BookWalker website.
