Keller Williams promotes Jason Abrams to Chief Industry and Strategy Officer

Keller Williams has promoted Jason Abrams to a new position, building on his 25-year coaching, education and training history with the Texas firm.

Keller Williams has promoted Jason Abrams to chief industry and strategy officer, according to an exclusive announcement shared with Inman Tuesday.

“Jason has dedicated his career to helping agents and broker owners build businesses worth owning and lives worth living,” KW President and CEO Chris Czarnecki said in a written statement. “He understands that in order to live your best life, you must give your best effort to the parts that matter most.”

“To do that, you need best practices paired with proven models and systems,” he added. “This new role expands his ability to drive that impact at scale.”

Abrams has been with Keller Williams for 25 years, working as a top-producing agent, operating principal, and team leader before joining the franchisor’s corporate team in 2016 as a KW MAPS coach and founding board member of KW Next Gen. He started his own coaching venture in 2017, before returning to KW’s C-suite as the head of industry and learning in 2019.

Over the past seven years, Abrams has helped expand KW’s education offerings through the Millionaire Real Estate Agent (MREA) media franchise, the launch of a digital real estate school with education firm Kaplan, and the creation of more than 1,200 hours of on-demand, live, and virtual training on timely topics, like navigating buyer-broker commission changes and effectively leveraging artificial intelligence.

He’s been a constant on several industry lists, including Inman News Marketing All-Stars, and also hosted an HGTV show, “Scoring the Deal.”

Abrams said his philosophy focuses on helping KW affiliates take “BOLD action” and build “the best version” of their personal and professional lives.

“Everything we do starts with one simple idea, it’s not about the money, it’s about being the best you can be,” he said in an emailed statement. “Our thinking is simple: no one succeeds alone, and people have lived before you; model their success, learn from their failures, and take BOLD action. When we align learning, strategy, and technology around that mission, we unlock the best version of our industry and lives.”

“At KW, we don’t chase trends; we teach universal truths, which is why the MREA book is even more relevant today than the day it was written,” he added. “We’re just getting started.”
