A US jury has found Google and Meta liable for building addictive social media platforms which harmed the mental health of a young woman.
The 20-year-old plaintiff in the landmark trial, known as Kaley, accused the tech giants of taking over her childhood years.
Meta spokesperson Ashly Nikkole Davis says the social media network will appeal the decision.
