Australia’s fuel supply to last into May as service stations with no diesel drop to 3.4 per cent
Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen provides an update on Australia’s current fuel supply and outlines what it could mean for the coming months.
“3.4 per cent of Australia’s service stations with no diesel at the moment, we’ve got more work to do to get that down to zero,” Mr Bowen said.
“We’ve been very pleased with the response we’ve had from our southeast asian partners … who recognise their role as reliable energy suppliers to Australia.
“We continue to see no ships cancelled that have been contracted for Australia.
“We now have security of supply through April and now into May.”
