‘Immense risks’ will be brought into society with rise of AI

UNSW AI Institute Chief Professor Toby Walsh says the federal government hasn’t learned “lessons” from social media and internet misuse.

Mr Walsh told Sky News host Peta Credlin that it is about to be repeated with a “much more powerful” technology found in Artificial Intelligence.

“It’s going to carry some immense risks.”
