Sir Keir Starmer 'has to learn to deal like the King', Donald Trump tells Sky News

Donald Trump has spoken in glowing terms about the King and Queen's state visit to the United States in a telephone call with Sky News, while continuing to criticise Sir Keir Starmer.

Speaking to Sky's Mark Stone, the president praised the King's speech to Congress, saying: "He was fantastic. It was a brilliant speech. It was delivered beautifully, with that beautiful accent that he's got."

He added: "Your prime minister has to learn to deal the way he deals, and he'll do a lot better."
