Kiefer Sutherland's 2025 thriller Stone Cold Fox is now emerging as a streaming favorite. Directed by Sophie Tabet and also starring Kiernan Shipka, Karen Fukuhara, Jamie Chung, and Krysten Ritter, Stone Cold Fox follows a young woman who escapes an abusive commune and is hunted by a crooked cop; she then must infiltrate the commune to save her younger sister.
Stone Cold Fox quietly released theatrically on November 7, 2025, and didn't gross enough to be tracked by major box office sites. It also has a modest 60% score on Rotten Tomatoes, against a 57% audience score. Stone Cold Fox is now available on Netflix in the U.S., where it is becoming a sleeper hit after its unremarkable release. As of today, Stone Cold Fox is the No. 5 movie in the U.S. on Netflix.
Currently No. 1 on Netflix is People We Meet on Vacation, worldwide as well as in the U.S. Among the Top Movies in the U.S. Today, Soul on Fire (No. 2), The Bad Guys (No. 3), and Lone Survivor (No. 4) rank above Stone Cold Fox. But Kiefer Sutherland's entry is outpacing KPop Demon Hunters, Evil Influencer, Just Go With It, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Pitch Perfect.

Sutherland, the member of the Stone Cold Fox cast with the most prominent career so far, is known for 24, Phone Booth, and Melancholia, and has more recently starred in Tinsel Town, Juror #2, Rabbit Hole, The First Lady, Designated Survivor, and Flatliners. He has won two Primetime Emmys for his work on the drama thriller series 24.
However, other Stone Cold Fox stars have previously led popular properties, which might draw more audiences to this new Netflix hit. A couple of these actors are best known for Netflix projects, which might benefit Stone Cold Fox because subscribers are already familiar with them. Kiernan Shipka, for instance, who plays the main character, starred in Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
