After original plans fell through for a different adaptation of the material, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is confirmed to be getting a TV remake 15 years after David Fincher's acclaimed adaptation.
Variety has reported that UK-based broadcaster Sky has ordered development on a new adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The series, which sources report is set to begin filming in Lithuania this spring, is being penned and executive by Spider-Noir's Steve Lightfoot and The Haunting of Bly Manor's Angela LaManna, with Sony Pictures Television also attached to handle international distribution.
