Irish Dealer BJ Marine Welcomes Beneteau First 60 World Unveiling

Irish Beneteau agent BJ Marine has welcomed the unveiling of the new Beneteau First 60, the largest yacht ever built in the First range at this week's Boot Dusseldorf.

The 18.95-metre performance cruiser was revealed last Saturday morning and has drawn strong interest from sailors and industry figures.

BJ Marine General Manager Jame Kirwan said the yacht is already making a strong impression.

“We are delighted to have been at the unveiling of the First 60 this morning,” Kirwan said.

“This is the largest First that Beneteau have ever built and it is being received incredibly well.”

The First 60 combines high-performance sailing with refined deck spaces and a light-filled interior designed for extended time afloat.

Designed by Biscontini Yacht Design with styling by Lorenzo Argento, the yacht features advanced sail-handling systems aimed at precision and ease of use.

BJ Marine confirmed it will be welcoming Irish clients aboard the Beneteau stand throughout the week.

“We are looking forward to welcoming clients aboard the Beneteau stand this week,” the General Manager added.

The Irish dealer will also showcase two further models at the event.

“We also have the world premiere of the First 36 SE and we have the First 30 on display also,” he said.

The First 60 is CE Category A certified and positioned as a flagship model for experienced sailors seeking performance without compromise.
